Keith Purdie

Keith Purdie is an experienced Commercial Director with extensive expertise in developing innovation clusters. Currently, he leads Colworth Science Park, part of the Pioneer Group, where he has successfully transformed the park from an R&D facility into a vibrant, multi-tenant science park with a consistent occupancy rate exceeding
95%.

His work has included strategic initiatives to enhance tenant experience, energy management, and establishing a collaborative ‘Planetary Health’ ecosystem.

Keith’s achievements include fostering strategic partnerships with universities, trade bodies, and Local Enterprise Partnerships, bolstering the park’s reputation in the life sciences and biosciences sectors. Previously, as Business Development Manager at Bedford I-lab, he implemented business strategies that improved tenant retention and optimised operational efficiencies, while also managing significant facility contracts and overseeing development projects.

A Fellow of the Royal Society for Arts, Keith is recognised for his innovative approach to sustainable development and ecosystem creation. His skills in strategic leadership, stakeholder management, and business development have made him a specialist in creating collaborative, growth-oriented environments in the commercial property sector.
