Justin Richardson

Justin was appointed Chief Executive of the Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce in April 2018 to lead a transformative period of investment and growth for the organisation. With a background in finance, manufacturing, logistics and business support, he brings extensive experience to his role. Drawing on a broad network, Justin provides valuable insights into the local business and economic landscape.

Under his leadership, the Chamber has become pivotal in fostering collaboration across key sectors in the region and is passionate about creating a platform for businesses to connect, build long-term relationships, and grow sustainably. His focus on supporting local businesses has led to securing significant funding, enabling the launch of initiatives that boost the region’s competitiveness.

Raised in Milton Keynes, with over 20 years living in Northamptonshire and 24 years working in Bedfordshire, Justin is dedicated to advancing economic development across the South Midlands. He believes the business community is central to shaping economic strategies, ensuring regional priorities align with business needs and opportunities.

His contributions extend to Luton’s Inclusive Growth Commission, where he has worked on addressing barriers to growth, skills development, and economic participation. Justin’s goal is to be a strong voice for business in the region, empowering local companies to thrive in a competitive environment.
