Stephen Henson

After working for Barclays for nearly 38 years, during which time he has undertaken a variety of Relationship Management roles aligned to supporting Small & Medium size businesses, In January 2024 Steve joined TC Group, who are a Top 25 Business Advisory and Accountancy Firm with local offices in Northampton and Milton Keynes

Steve has been a key advocate in developing ecosystems to support growth, innovation and collaboration in the area. Enabling business to start, grow, thrive and exit. Over the years he has developed a strong focus on advanced manufacturing, engineering and high performance technology led businesses that support sectors such as automotive, aerospace, medical and motorsport.

He has also been involved with the Silverstone Technology Cluster both prior to, and after, its creation. In addition he has held committee and working group roles with numerous organisations. This has included the likes of Cranfield University, SEMLEP and the Connected Places Catapult where he was instrumental in the setting up of advisory clinics to support the cohorts of SME’s on various accelerator programmes.

Steve has lived in the Milton Keynes area all his life and has a teenage daughter. He is a keen cyclist, motorsport fan and enjoys going to concerts
